Fritz Hansen 3107 Series 7 Dining Chair Coloured Ash
Manufacturer: Fritz Hansen | Designer: Arne Jacobsen, 1955
The Series 7™ is an icon in modern furniture history — designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1955, its pressure-moulded veneer shell is timeless and incredibly versatile. The 3107 is the original four-leg configuration: nine layers of moulded veneer, slim 14mm steel tube legs, and a form that remains as resolved today as it was seventy years ago.
This version is finished in coloured ash — a pigmented veneer that allows the natural grain and veining of the wood to show through, giving each chair a soft, organic quality beneath the colour. Fritz Hansen sources its ash responsibly, selecting only the highest quality timber, free from knots, sap or cracks. The result is a finish that feels considered rather than uniform — colour with character.
- Dimensions: Width: 50cm × Depth: 52cm × Height: 82cm (Seat height: 46cm)
- Shell: Pressure-moulded veneer, coloured ash finish
- Base: 14mm steel tube, 4-leg — chromed, black, silver grey, brown bronze, warm graphite or white steel
Also available in front upholstered and fully upholstered versions, as well as in natural wood veneer and lacquered veneer. Pairs well with the Fritz Hansen Table Series. Explore the full Series 7™ collection.
