Anagram — Modular by Design

Anagram is more than a sofa — it is a system conceived to adapt. Designed by Panter & Tourron for Vitra in 2024, its platform modules connect on all four sides, with backrests, side panels and attachable tables that click freely into position and can be rearranged in seconds. From a classic two-seater to an L-shape, a reading nook, a guest sleeping area or an island configuration at the centre of a room — the same components serve every arrangement.

The engineering is as considered as the form. The lightweight aluminium frame contains 80% recycled content; cushions are filled with 100% recycled PET fibres with no animal-based padding; covers are removable for cleaning or replacement. Nothing is glued, laminated or foamed — every component can be separated and recycled at end of life.
