The RF1903 Sideways Sofa was designed by award-winning Danish designer Rikke Frost as a considered response to how we actually spend time together. Rather than the conventional forward-facing arrangement, the Sideways Sofa turns its occupants toward one another — a simple shift in orientation that makes conversation feel more natural and downtime more deliberate.
The steam-bent backrest is shaped from solid wood and woven paper cord, giving the sofa a light, open quality from behind. The seat and back are fully padded and upholstered for lasting comfort.
