A Sofa in the Wegner Tradition

The CH293 3 Seater Sofa was designed by Hans J. Wegner in 1962 as part of the CH290 Series. It shares the series’ characteristic language — visible slatted backrest, wide armrests, dynamically angled legs — scaled up into a three-seater that retains all of Wegner’s characteristic honesty. The frame is left exposed by design: the carpentry is visible and deliberate, softened by three carefully upholstered seat and back cushions in removable fabric or leather.

The FSC®-certified oak frame is hand-finished to a smooth surface, enhancing the natural beauty of the wood. Three individual seat and back cushions — each upholstered in your choice of Carl Hansen fabric or leather — offer generous comfort with removable covers for easy care.
