Artek Kiila Coat Stand
Manufacturer: Artek | Designer: Daniel Rybakken, 2017
The Kiila Coat Stand was inspired by the camera tripod on which designer Daniel Rybakken used to hang his coats. Three solid ash legs meet at a wedge-shaped bent steel joint β the βkiilaβ (Finnish for wedge) β which is left deliberately visible rather than concealed. The low centre of gravity means the stand can take serious weight without tipping. Robust and compact, it works in even the smallest hallway.
- Dimensions: Width: 54 cm Γ Depth: 48 cm Γ Height: 192 cm
- Legs: Solid ash
- Structure: Bent sheet steel
- Hooks: Polyamide, dyed
