The Atelier Chair was commissioned by the Nationalmuseum in Stockholm for its new restaurant — a space conceived to evoke an artist's atelier. The brief called for a chair that was compact, lightweight, and stackable, without sacrificing character. TAF Studio's response is a solid wood chair with slender proportions and geometric lines, distinguished by the connecting bars that hug the front legs. The seat is form-pressed plywood with a veneer surface, available in beech, ash, or oak — each with its own grain and warmth.
