Artek A811 Floor Light

The A811 was the last floor light in Alvar Aalto’s lighting range — a single-shade design that shares its construction language with the A805 and A810 but arrived a decade later, in 1965. The shade is hand-spun and hand-riveted from louvered steel strips, white painted, directing light downward while allowing a softer diffusion through the slats. The stand is steel covered in black leather, with a tube in either polished or nickel plated brass. Made in Finland.
Available in two finishes: tube in polished brass or tube in nickel plated brass.
