Artek A330S Golden Bell Savoy Pendant Light

The A330S Golden Bell Savoy is the original version of the pendant that Aino and Alvar Aalto designed for the interior of the Savoy Restaurant in Helsinki in 1936, shown at the Paris World Expo the following year. Where the standard A330S is available in painted steel and polished brass, the Savoy version is formed from a single piece of unvarnished polished brass — left raw on the inside — giving it a warmer, more material quality that deepens over time. The perforated rim creates the same characteristic halo effect, diffusing light softly upward while directing it downward. Supplied with a black textile cable and a matching brass ceiling cup.
