Artek A330S Golden Bell Pendant Light
Manufacturer: Artek | Designer: Alvar Aalto, 1937
The Golden Bell was designed by Aino and Alvar Aalto in 1936 for the interior of the Savoy Restaurant in Helsinki — one of their most celebrated commissions — and shown at the Paris World Expo the following year. Formed from a single piece of material, its shape is deceptively simple: a smooth bell that directs light downward while remaining a sculptural presence in its own right. The ceiling cup is finished to match the shade, and the interior is painted white throughout to maximise light output.
Available in four finishes: polished brass, chrome-plated steel, white painted steel, and black painted steel.
- Dimensions: Diameter: 17cm × Height: 20cm
- Polished brass variant: Brass shade, white cable, inside white coated
- Chrome variant: Chrome-plated steel shade, white cable
- White variant: White painted steel shade, white cable
- Black variant: Black painted steel shade, black cable
- Ceiling cup: Matching finish to shade
- Cable length: 2.5m
- Bulb required (not included): E27, 12W max
- IP20 rated
