The design of the Slow Chair uses the principle of a textile sling cover precisely fitted over a tubular steel frame. This creates a sink-in effect with just the right amount of tension to ensure appealing comfort, especially when supplemented with loose cushions. Due to the absence of thick padding, the compact Slow Chair offers generous space and, thanks to its light weight, can be easily picked up and moved around — a flexible spot to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. With its distinctive aesthetic, it integrates seamlessly into modern interiors while adding a contemporary touch to classic settings.
The upholstery fabric can be configured with a semi-transparent, breathable knitted textile or the soft bouclé fabric Flocca. The matching seat and neck cushions are complemented with a choice of back cushions from the Vitra Cushions collection. Covers in Flocca can be removed for cleaning or replacement.
The price is based on the two back cushions (40 × 30cm & 65 × 30cm) being in the same fabric, grade, and colour. Different options for each cushion are available — please contact our team for more information.
