The LAR with Upholstery

The LAR Seat Upholstery is the Eames Plastic Armchair RE LAR with upholstery — moulded polyurethane foam padding attached to the shell with a welted edge, available in fabric or leather. The upholstery adds comfort to the low-slung lounge armchair while retaining the organic shell form and the open wire rod base beneath.

Please note: the LAR has a seat height of just 25.5cm — significantly lower than a standard dining or lounge chair (typically 40–45cm). It sits close to the floor and is best suited as a statement accent chair or low lounge seating.
