Recycled Shell, Built for Stacking

The HAL RE Tube Chair Stackable brings the HAL RE recycled plastic shell to a stackable four-legged tube base — well suited to restaurants, conference rooms, and event spaces where seating needs to flex between use and storage. Up to six chairs can be stacked on the floor, or up to fifteen on a stacking trolley. Chrome base is recommended for stacking, as powder-coated finishes may show signs of abrasion over time. The powder-coated version is also suitable for outdoor use on a temporary or seasonal basis.

The seat shell is moulded from dyed-through recycled polypropylene sourced from Germany's 'Yellow Bag' (Gelber Sack) household waste collection, generating 54% fewer climate-damaging emissions than conventional plastic. Due to the composition of the recycled material, the colours are interspersed with tiny specks of pigment — a characteristic of the material. The HAL RE seat shell can also be 100% recycled at the end of its life.
