The Swivel Version of a Prouvé Classic
The Fauteuil Direction Pivotant takes the constructive aesthetic of the Fauteuil Direction and adapts it for the office: a five-star base with castors replaces the fixed legs, and a gas spring provides continuous seat height adjustment. The backward tilt is adjustable and lockable in the forward position, making it a genuinely functional task chair without sacrificing the visual character of the original design.
