Originally conceived to furnish the lobby areas of New York's Time Life Building, the Lobby Chair is one of the most comfortable chairs in the Eames canon. Three individual cushions are joined by chromed, die-cast aluminium side frames — a construction that gives the ES 108 its characteristic sculptural presence while delivering exceptional support.
The ES 108 is the conference variant of the Lobby Chair family, designed for use on glides at a table. Seat height is fixed; armrests are upholstered in leather throughout.
