Originally conceived to furnish the lobby areas of New York's Time Life Building, the Lobby Chair is one of the most comfortable chairs in the Eames canon. Three individual cushions are joined by chromed, die-cast aluminium side frames — a construction that gives the ES 105 its characteristic sculptural presence while delivering exceptional support.
The ES 105 is the wider, lower variant of the Lobby Chair family, designed for lounges and waiting areas. Seat height is fixed; the chair swivels on a four-star aluminium base. Armrests are upholstered in leather throughout.
