Soft Pad EA 222 — Lounge

The EA 222 is the lounge chair of the Eames Soft Pad Group — featuring a high backrest with neck cushion and a low seat for a deeply relaxed sitting position. More luxuriously upholstered than the Aluminium Chair, it offers a softer, cosier experience that can be further enhanced through a wide choice of fabric or leather covers.

Five sewn-on cushions with polyurethane foam padding sit within die-cast aluminium side profiles and spreaders. The chair features an adjustable backward tilt mechanism, swivel function, and armrests as standard.
