Soft Pad EA 219 — Work

The EA 219 is the high-back office swivel chair of the Eames Soft Pad Group — distinguished by its taller backrest, which provides enhanced support for the upper back and shoulders. It shares the slim aluminium frame of the Aluminium Chair but adds stitched, padded cushions for a softer, more enveloping seat. Particularly suited to management areas and the well-appointed home office.

The tilt mechanism adjusts to the user’s weight and locks in the forward position; seat height is continuously adjustable via gas spring. Upholstered cushions use polyurethane foam for lasting comfort and resilience.
