The DKX-5 — Wire Shell, X-Base, Seat Pad

The DKX-5 is the Vitra Eames Wire Chair DKX fitted with a removable seat pad — adding comfort while preserving the wire shell’s graphic silhouette. Available in fabric or leather.

The same chair as the DKX in all other respects — chrome-plated or powder-coated in white or basic dark.

  • Seat shell — bent and welded steel wire, chrome-plated or powder-coated
  • Base — four-legged tubular steel X-base, finish matched to shell
  • Upholstery — seat pad in fabric or leather; removable for cleaning
  • Glides — plastic glides for carpet; felt glides for hard floors
