The DKR-5 — Wire Shell, Rod Base, Seat Pad

The DKR-5 is the Vitra Eames Wire Chair DKR fitted with a removable seat pad — adding comfort while preserving the wire shell’s graphic silhouette. Available in fabric or leather.

The same chair as the DKR in all other respects — chrome-plated or powder-coated in white or basic dark.

Specifications

  • Dimensions — W49 × D51 × H85cm (seat height 43cm)
  • Seat shell — bent and welded steel wire, chrome-plated or powder-coated
  • Base — four-legged rod base with cross struts, finish matched to shell
  • Upholstery — seat pad in fabric or leather; removable for cleaning
  • Glides — plastic glides for carpet; felt glides for hard floors

Pairs well with the Vitra Soft Seats Cushion and Vitra Soft Seats Outdoor Cushion.

Also available as the DKR-2 Seat & Back Pad or without upholstery as the Vitra Eames Wire Chair DKR.
