HAY Rey Dining Chair With Seat Upholstery
Manufacturer: HAY | Designer: Bruno Rey for Dietiker, 1971
The Rey Chair with Seat Upholstery brings the same screwless wood-to-metal construction and stackable beech frame as the original, with the addition of a 25mm foam upholstered seat for extended comfort. HAY has paired each frame colour with a carefully selected fabric — Steelcut Trio or Relate — to create combinations that work across domestic, hospitality, and corporate settings.
The seat and back are moulded plywood with beech veneer; the legs are solid beech in water-based lacquer. Plastic gliders are fitted as standard, suitable for all but the most sensitive floor surfaces. Stackable up to 4 chairs.

- Material — Moulded plywood with beech veneer; solid beech legs; 25mm foam upholstered seat
