The 7:14 AM Colour Edition
Designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1955, the Series 7™ is the best-selling chair in Fritz Hansen’s collection — and one of the most recognisable pieces of furniture ever made. The 3107 is the original four-leg configuration: nine layers of pressure-moulded veneer, slim 14mm steel tube legs, and a form that remains as resolved today as it was seventy years ago.
The 7:14 AM Colour Edition takes its name from the quality of light in Denmark at that precise moment on an early autumn morning — soft, cool, and atmospheric. Five shell colours rendered as gentle wash-tones sit quietly in a room without demanding attention, bringing a distinctly Nordic character to the chair.
The Rainbow base is crafted from semi-recycled steel, welded and finished with a zinc chromate coating that creates a transparent golden iridescence — durable, and developing a unique patina over time.
