Peter's Chair and Table — the complete set
This bundle brings together the CH411 Peter's Table and two CH410 Peter's Chairs — the complete set as Hans J. Wegner originally conceived it. Both pieces were designed in 1944 as a christening gift for Peter, the son of his friend and fellow furniture designer Børge Mogensen. Unable to find anything suitable in wartime Europe, Wegner made the set himself.
Each piece is designed as a life-size three-dimensional puzzle in untreated FSC™-certified beech — tool-free to assemble, with no sharp edges, and as satisfying for adults to put together as it is for children to use. Simple, robust, and genuinely engaging, the set has remained in production ever since.
