The ND55 Coffee Table was designed by Nanna and Jørgen Ditzel in 1955 with a characteristically playful approach to functionality. At first glance it reads as a simple, well-proportioned coffee table — rounded edges, solid wood, brushed brass details. Look closer and an ingenious pull-out extension leaf is revealed: lift it and slide it across to the centre, and the table expands to almost double its width. A piece that earns its place without announcing itself.
