The Lounge Chair, Taken Outside
The E018 Embrace Outdoor Lounge Chair explores the interplay between perfection and imperfection — a tense, handcrafted teak frame set against relaxed, casual upholstery. Designed by the Vienna-based studio EOOS, it introduces a new typology for outdoor furniture: the comfort and considered aesthetic of an indoor lounge chair, brought confidently outside. Wide seat, wide backrest, gently angled back legs. It has the bearing of a future design classic.
The frame is solid FSC™-certified teak, untreated, sanded and assembled by hand to precise standards of craftsmanship. Finger joints on the armrests and a truss assembly beneath the seat add structural integrity while remaining beautiful from every angle. Left untreated, the teak develops a sophisticated silver-grey patina over time — a natural evolution that only adds to the character of the piece.
The E018 can be used with or without its signature weather-resistant cushion — soft and informal where the frame is sleek and structured. Available in three muted, nature-inspired hues: Panama Hollin 1779, Panama Alga 3667, and Liso Life Oat 1760. Select your preference above.
