The E015 Embrace Lounge Chair was designed by EOOS for Carl Hansen & Søn in 2016 with a single purpose: to provide the kind of comfort that makes you forget you are sitting in a chair. The frame is a continuously visible wooden structure — a three-piece rounded back assembled with characteristic finger joints, and legs that give the chair its distinctive, grounded stance. The three-dimensional cushion wraps around the frame and the sitter simultaneously, with soft upholstery that feels as considered as it looks.
