The E004 Embrace Chair is a 2019 addition to the Embrace Series, designed by Austrian trio EOOS in close collaboration with Carl Hansen & Søn. Visually light and without armrests, it takes up less space than its companion armchair and sits comfortably with any table — including the E020 Embrace Dining Table. The design allows for great freedom of movement, enabling users to communicate and interact freely around the table.
The upholstery is folded in two dimensions, its relaxed, generous form contrasting the precisely shaped solid wood frame beneath. The result is a testimony to the unity between Carl Hansen & Søn's craftsmanship and heritage and the innovative design approach of EOOS.
Craftsmanship & Finish
The edging strip is available in five colours — white, natural, dark blue, brown and black — allowing for subtle personalisation across the Embrace family.
