An Extendable Dining Table for Larger Gatherings
The CH338 is the middle table in Hans J. Wegner’s trio of elliptical dining tables — a longer version of the CH337, and a step down from the grand CH339. At 200cm it seats six comfortably. With its softly curved solid wood tabletop and transverse grain, the table has a unifying, organic feel that works equally well for family dining and larger gatherings.
The CH338 can be extended with up to two or four leaves depending on the version selected, reaching up to 320cm or 440cm — seating up to ten or fourteen. Extension leaves are sold separately and are available in solid wood to match the table, or in grey or black MDF.
Craftsmanship & Finish
Two size configurations are available: the 320cm version includes hardware for two leaves and one support leg; the 440cm version includes hardware for four leaves and three support legs. We recommend ordering leaves at the same time as the table to ensure the closest possible grain match. The CH337I extension leaves are sold separately.
