Designed by Hans J. Wegner in 1951 and put into production the following year, the CH28P Lounge Chair carries many of the master's most characteristic design signatures. The armrests are carefully rounded, the seat sweeps with a slender elegance, and the curved backrest and rounded legs create a dynamic that is at once restrained and deeply considered. The result is a chair that is as comfortable to sit in as it is to look at.

Wegner's instinct for balancing form and function is evident in every detail of the CH28P. The solid oak frame provides a warm, structural foundation, while the upholstered seat and back bring softness and longevity. The oak-only version is available in lacquered or white pigmented oiled finish; the oak and walnut combination is available lacquered or oiled.
