Three Tables, One Considered Design

First presented in 1952, the CH004 Nesting Tables are three tables designed to be used together or independently. Wegner gave each table the same rounded, tapered legs and subtle curves on the front and rear supports — details that give the set a light, organic quality that is immediately recognisable as his work. Nested together they occupy a compact footprint; separated, they adapt to wherever they are needed in a room.

The tables are crafted in solid wood with a solid wood base, and the mix of oak and walnut — walnut top, oak base — adds a quiet material contrast that rewards closer inspection.
