The free standing galvanised back panel is part of the String® Outdoor range — a series of components in galvanised aluzinc designed for outdoor use. The shelves are self-healing: the metal ages naturally but will never corrode, making it a genuinely durable choice for a balcony, terrace or garden.
The free standing shelf fits equally well on a smaller balcony as on a larger terrace and requires no wall fixing, though it can be secured to the base if preferred. A complete section consists of one back panel (SBP-11-1), two uprights (SU-11-1) and two galvanised floor panels at 85cm high and 30cm deep (purchased separately). To build additional sections, you need one upright and one panel per section. For a three-section free standing shelf, we recommend at least one back panel placed in the middle for stability.
