A Wall Decoration from Girard's Restaurant Work

Alexander Girard brought a graphic sensibility to everything he touched — from textiles and exhibition design to the walls of the interiors he created. The Metal Wall Reliefs have their origins in decorative elements he designed for The Compound restaurant in Santa Fe and for his own home, where pattern, colour, and form were layered with the same care as the furniture. Selected in cooperation with the Girard family, the motifs are made from powder-coated sheet metal and arrive with all assembly materials included.

The Magic Snake is one of the most characterful pieces in the Wall Relief range — a sinuous, patterned form that winds across the wall with graphic energy. Bold in scale and rich in surface detail, it makes a striking statement alone or as part of a larger Girard arrangement.
