The Noctambule by Konstantin Grcic is a modular lighting system in which interconnecting blown glass modules stack to create a luminous column. This Floor 1 configuration comprises a single high cylinder and a cone on a small base — a more compact composition than the Floor 2, but with the same exceptional construction throughout. The cylindrical and semi-spherical transparent blown glass structure sits on a die-cast aluminium base with hydroformed steel internal lateral arms and injection-moulded optical opal silicone outer ring diffusers. Additional modules can be added to extend the composition further.
