A sphere of pure, diffused light

The Glo-Ball S by Jasper Morrison is one of the most quietly iconic pendant designs of the last three decades. Its hand-blown opaline glass diffuser — acid-etched on the exterior — eliminates glare entirely, producing a soft, luminous sphere that fills a room with even, enveloping light. Behind the simplicity lies careful engineering: a transparent polycarbonate support holds the glass diffuser, while a fibreglass-reinforced polyamide rose and galvanised steel ceiling fitting ensure a clean, minimal installation. The result is a pendant that disappears into a space, leaving only light.
