The Arco was designed to solve a specific problem — how to position a direct overhead light above a dining table or lounge chair without hardwiring into the ceiling. The answer was an arching telescopic stem that sweeps up to 220cm across the room, anchored by a 60kg block of white Carrara marble. A hole through the base allows two people to carry it using a broom handle — a detail as practical as it is characterful. The three-section satin-finish stainless steel stem is fully telescopic, allowing the height and reach to be adjusted to suit the space. The polished, zapon-varnished aluminium reflector swivels and adjusts independently, directing light precisely where it’s needed.
