The Chair That Changes How You Sit
Designed in 2011, the Tip Ton RE is one of those rare chairs that genuinely changes how you sit. Tip it forward a few degrees and the pelvis realigns, the spine follows — an ergonomic shift you feel immediately, without any mechanical complexity. The whole chair is a single moulded form: no moving parts, no assembly.
The RE suffix signals something meaningful: the shell is made from post-consumer recycled plastic sourced from Germany's household packaging collection (the Gelber Sack system), blended with glass fibre for structural rigidity. It uses significantly less energy to produce than virgin plastic and is itself 100% recyclable at end of life.
Stackable up to four high on the floor, or eleven on a compatible trolley. Suitable for outdoor use on a temporary or seasonal basis — after prolonged exposure to the elements, clean and store in a dry, sheltered place to ensure lasting use and avoid any deterioration in appearance.
