Poul Henningsen spent his career solving one problem: how to produce light that is genuinely comfortable to live with. His answer was the three-shade system — a logarithmic arrangement of shades that directs light downward and outward while eliminating every point of glare. The PH 3/2 Table applies that principle in mouth-blown three-layer opal glass, with shades that are glossy on top and sandblasted matt on the underside, producing a soft, diffused glow that works equally well on a bedside table, desk, or console.

With a 300mm top shade — the PH numbering refers to the top and lower shade sizes respectively — it has enough presence to anchor a bedside table or console without overwhelming it. Available in Chrome Plated, Black Metallised, and Brass Metallised, with the finish carried consistently across the top plate, base, and stem.
