The PH 2/1, Untethered

The PH 2/1 Portable takes the classic petite table lamp — mouth-blown opal glass shades, three-shade glare-free system, stem and base in chrome or brass — and removes the one constraint that limits where it can go. Rechargeable and cordless, it works equally well on a bedside table, inside a bookcase, on a terrace, or anywhere mains electricity isn't easily accessible. The form is identical to the wired PH 2/1; the freedom is entirely new.

The lamp features a dim-to-warm function — light shifts from 3000K at full brightness down to 1800K at its lowest, mimicking the warmth of a dimmed incandescent. Brightness is adjustable in four steps (5%, 20%, 45%, 100%) or via stepless dimming, switchable between the two modes. Battery life is approximately five hours at full brightness. A white indicator light on the base shows when charging.
