The PH 1/1 Portable is a cordless interpretation of Poul Henningsen's three-shade system, first developed in 1926 on the principle of the logarithmic spiral. The smallest shade set in the System PH, it delivers the same glare-free, layered light as its larger counterparts — scaled down for flexible placement across the home and beyond.

Mouth-blown opal glass shades diffuse light evenly across all three layers, producing a soft, calm atmosphere with no visible glare. The dim-to-warm function shifts the colour temperature from 2700K down to 1800K as the lamp dims, mimicking the warmth of a fading incandescent bulb. Suited to indoor and outdoor use, it works equally well inside a bookcase, on a dining table, or on a terrace where mains power is not available.
