The Panthella 250 Portable is a compact, cordless edition of Verner Panton's celebrated Panthella design — scaled down from the original 400 to sit comfortably on windowsills, shelves, bedside tables, and anywhere else you need considered light. The same design logic applies: both the stem and the shade act as reflectors, bouncing soft, diffused light through the shade to produce a warm, glare-free glow.
The Design
Available in a wide range of colours and materials, the Panthella 250 Portable adapts to almost any interior without losing its sculptural identity. A touch switch on the top nut steps through 10%, 33%, and 100% brightness, and the IP44 rating means it moves freely between indoor and outdoor settings. A white indicator light on the base shows when charging is in progress.
