A ceiling light that reimagines the dome
The Skynest by Marcel Wanders Studio is a diffuse ceiling light built from a network of luminous and dark elements. Its dome structure is formed from core shapes covered with a thin, interwoven tubular mesh made from recycled and recyclable polyester fabric — each element powered by micro-connectors and finished with a two-tone mesh. The interior face is always white to maximise light emission from each LED module.
Engineered for longevity
A built-in balancing system at the crown ensures perfect stability, while an aluminium ring at the base locks the entire network structure in place via a snap-fit. Assembled without glue — every component can be fully separated for recycling or repair.
