Designed by Preben Fabricius and Jørgen Kastholm in 1963, the FK63 Bookcase System is the result of a shared commitment to functionally minimalist design — one that prioritises proportion, handcrafted detail, and natural materials above all else. The FK632010 Bookcase is a core component of the system, crafted in FSC®-certified solid oak and oiled to accentuate the natural texture and grain of the wood.
The system is devised for maximum flexibility: modules combine in a multitude of configurations to suit every space and collection. Open shelves with optional sliding trays and full-width cabinets fitted with brass handles can be arranged and extended as needs grow. Available in wall-mounted and freestanding versions, the freestanding option resting on a slender powder-coated metal frame.
